I haven't seen the ducks for ages as Nick lets them out on the way to work and it is getting dark so early, he puts them to bed on the way home.
The Campbells are going to keep us in eggs throughout the winter so the egg holder has four at the moment which I am going to use to make a pumpkin pie.
I used Jamie Oliver to make a dish of roasted pumpkin as he says that you can leave the skins on if they are thin so I gave it a try. He was right, they gave a lovely nutty taste. I jsut sliced and tossed in olive oil with a sprinkling of cumin. Yummy.
